“This will give the public an opportunity to view a diverse selection of contemporary art work produced in the Halifax area and across Nova Scotia. It is also a chance for university students, and especially those from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, to unwind after a long school year. As well, we are encouraging people who may not be familiar with the gallery’s programmes to attend the opening and not only see the work of many talented artists, but also get to know us a little better.” – Catherine Phoenix Programming Co-ordinator
