Dance Performance

Together they combined their combined their talents to produce seven individual pieces, each approximately ten minutes long. Each piece is separate, with a common theme of communication. Communication in the broadest sense is explored through themes related to technology, interpersonal communication, and pop culture. Illuminated sculptural stage props, slide projections, the spoken word, sound effects, live music, and modern dance movements were all employed in this group’s innovative approach to performance theatre. The Halifax Performance Project’s objective was to offer something new in the way of performance to the Halifax audience.
