Carving the Heart / Confrontations

This was the first one man show of McEwen’s works in Halifax in recent years. On exhibition was “Verging”, a sculpture completed the month previous, and being shown for the first time; also, “Carving the Heart”, a photo mural which was first shown at the Southern Alberta Gallery in Lethbridge in 1979, in his exhibition entitled “Real Sculpture”, organized by Director Alan MacKay.
