Beyond the Object

Kai Chan / Laura Donefor / Steve Heinemann / Francois Hude / Sara Quinton / Vita Plume - “Beyond the Object” is an exhibition with a challenging and thoughtful approach to crafts. These artists go beyond traditional craft conventions to create a new role for the contemporary craft object. Their work uses reference to craft tradition as the point of departure for an investigation of broader issues of content and meaning associated with the objects we have around us.
