Beached

A collaborative performance work originally conceived and presented at the Ave Media festival in Arnhem, The Netherlands in 1987. ‘Beached’ is scripted and employs simple industrial technology; Ice, fire buckets, paint strippers, a ladder, a chair, slide projectors and a cassette sound system. ‘Beached’ attempts to refer us to an apocalyptic past with the intent to connect the optimism of establishing ones future to the ability of restructuring historical perspectives. The work accepts out mythological beginnings yet permits its revision. The duration of the piece is 30 minutes.
