Auckland/Halifax Exchange

Billy Apple / John Bailey / Gregory Burke / City Group / From Scratch / Megan Jenkinson / Gregor Nicholson / Roche/Buis - The exhibition was composed of artworks in a wide variety of media. Included were paintings, several video programs and works involving slide projections and audio tapes. The exhibition demonstrated a diverse range of approaches to materials and as well provides insight into the concerns which motivate these artists. Altogether the exhibition provided a provocative survey of contemporary art made in Auckland.
